Abstract
Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) is a widely discussed topic among researchers and managers. However, the impact of GSCM on organizational performance has not been adequately studied or fully understood. This study presents a comprehensive model to examine the effect of GSCM components on organizational performance and empirically evaluates it. To this end, data collected from 206 senior and middle managers across 23 diverse industries in Iran were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results indicate that internal environmental management and green information systems are two key prerequisites for implementing GSCM within organizations. Moreover, the implementation of GSCM components collectively influences both environmental and economic performance. In turn, environmental and economic performance affect operational and social performance, which ultimately impact overall organizational performance.
